Our Story

Hi, I am Shay! I grew up and currently reside in South Carolina. I have always been the family planner so I have helped plan many events for family and friends. Several years ago, with the support of my husband and family, I decided to turn my hobby into a business. I started out with a simple Mickey Mouse party that included a balloon structure. It was so simple but so much fun! After that, I started accepting other requests. The rest is history.

Our passion was children’s parties which mostly consisted of treat tables & balloons. That is how we came up with the business name, SugarPop Parties. Besides, you can't have a party without sweet treats and balloons, right? :-)

I am the brains of the business but sometimes it takes a crew to pull it off. I am so grateful for an amazing group of family and friends that will always step in to help when needed. There is no way I could operate my business without "my team" of supporters. I truly appreciate them all.
